The main role in marketing and advertising is played
by the brand name and corporate logotype. Successfully
chosen name or logo shape, attractive brand character
can lead the advertising campain to the fast final
victory. The previous marketing analysis gives preliminary
answer to this complex question, but the main work
here is made by designer. Only the right choice
of color and shape of logo gives the expected result.
Since the brand logo is worked out
the corporate style should be developed. On this
step marketing manager and graphic designer should
work in team. The advice of the marketing manager
and the opinion of graphic designer simultanously
form the style of future company. Corporate style
will include then all advertising materials that
were planned by marketing manager for future advertising
campaign. The whole package can contain only business
card, envelope and blank of the company, but usualy
companies use more extended set. The advertising
package can include also booklets, calendars, souvenirs,
billboards, posters, streetlines and so on, so the
corporate style must take into account the development
of all these materials and should finaly govern
the whole advertising campaign.
